8^th International Citroën Car Club Rally 1,2,3 September 1989 Holland

Flevohof: This was one of the most successful Citroën rallies ever!

I can't remember the exact number of cars and visitors but I think it was about 6,000 and 15,000 respectively!

It made so much money it financed the next few ICCCRs, the proceeds being passed over by the Amicale Citroën, the International Club of Citroen Car clubs for the next organising committee to have a start with some money in the kitty.(Rumour has it, that the Belgium committee organising the 11^th ICCCR then blew it on Helicopters and the like ;-)

Highlights were the partying to 4 different bands in the evening and the appearance of a 'fake' 22CV Traction Avant on the Sunday. Note that this carefully crafted vehicle would be priceless if it was the genuine article!
