Visitors
are always welcomed at Classic Restorations and the proprietor John Gillard
or one of his staff will be pleased to help with any queries an existing
or aspiring Traction owner may have.
John
will usually drop any work in hand and ignore incoming calls to be of assistance,
but for John's own protection, I would advise to be short and to the point
as other customers and work will always be waiting and John is just too
polite to say how busy he is ! |

Once
a year, usually in August, Classic Restorations organise their popular
Riverside Rally. This provides an opportunity for members of the Traction
Owners Club and customers of Classic Restoration to get together and park
their cars on the banks of the river Thames near Gabriel's Wharf, making
for one of the best photo opportunities in London ! Participants are encouraged
to dress in appropriate French-Style costume and prizes for this are awarded
during the day. Every year their is usually a variety of entertainment
laid on with a French theme, be it a mime artist dressed as Pierrot, a
Parisian accordion ensemble |
