The history of this car starts with a call from the Traction Owners Help
desk.
Am I interested in a new Slough Six that has recently come on the market.
I type the address in the Satellite Navigation System and decide to have a look.
I meet the owner Martin Trowbridge and his wife. Martin is obviously very
attached to this car.
He likes the quality of the restoration work I show on photos of KXN953 and
decides I am a worthy new owner.
I promise to keep Martin posted on the restoration progress and to let him know
if I decide to sell the car on.
He said he would like to meet the new owner (Chris Kimball) and see the car one
last time before it is shipped back to the USA.
Below are two period pictures of a proud previous owner
and his pretty wife on a sixties housing estate.
Then some photos takes at the time of picking up the car and upon arrival in my
Henley workshop.
